Hydrotherapy pools are used by: 

  •     Physiotherapists and exercise physiologist working with their clients
  •     Individuals of all ages with a range of long term disabilities
  •     People rehabilitating after accidents
  •     Individuals waiting for or recovering from joint surgery
  •     Sports people regaining fitness after surgery
  •     Sports people regaining fitness after injury
  •     Groups of special needs children
  •     Back pain / Sciatica / Lumbar instability
  •     Whiplash and other neck pain
  •     Tendinopathy
  •     Balance / Co-ordination problems
  •     Shoulder and arm pain
  •     Osteoarthritis
  •     Rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia
  •     Ankylosing Spondylitis
  •     Cardiac reconditioning
  •     Other conditions e.g. MS ./ Parkinsons’ / Cerebral Palsy

Our hydrotherapy pool is 1.2m deep down to 1.6m deep with shallow steps and railing for easy entrance, plus the pool has a hydraulic chair lift that can take up to 100kg.  Water weights, hydro belts and exercise noodles are also available for use.
 
You must attend with a physiotherapist in the water on your first visit to our hydrotherapy pool.
